Sacramento State's campus provides a green oasis with over 3,500 trees across its 305 acres. The campus includes the Julia Morgan House, a site on the National Register of Historic Places. Recognized as a Hispanic-Serving Institution and an Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institution, the university also holds the distinction of being the first Black-Serving Institution in California.
