Haskell Indian Nations University
Haskell Indian Nations University occupies a campus with twelve National Historic Landmark buildings. Representing approximately 140 Tribal nations and Alaska Native communities, the student body participates in a unique cultural environment. Haskell is home to the Haskell Cultural Center and Museum, the American Indian Athletic Hall of Fame, and the Indian Leader, the oldest Native American student newspaper in the country. The Haskell-Baker Wetlands are located nearby and provide a habitat for migrating birds.
