Magdalen College is situated on a large campus along the River Cherwell, adjacent to the University of Oxford Botanic Garden. The college is known for its beautiful grounds, which include a deer park and Addison's Walk. Magdalen is academically strong and one of Oxford's wealthiest colleges. A distinctive tradition involves the college choir singing from the top of Magdalen Tower at 6 a.m. on May Morning.
